The Brief
World In Motion approached Blue Tea to deliver a solution that would solve two core business challenges:
1. Provide a central database of:
- Football clubs & their player requirements
- Players on World In Motion’s books
- Other business critical data
2. Improve the internal communication between agents and internal staff
Our Approach
Blue Tea worked closely with World In Motion in order to understand their business and to identify the users of the application. In addition to providing them with a detailed specification to show that we understood their requirements, we also delivered a prototype of the solution that was designed to be aesthetically pleasing, intuitive & engaging for their staff. We delivered the application using Agile methodology over a series of sprints that allowed us to address the client’s priorities and respond to changes in a flexible way.
The Solution
World In Motion’s Player Management Solution is a dynamic web-based sports management application that can be accessed by their team wherever they are in the world. It has been built responsively to ensure optimised viewing across a wide range of devices including mobile, desktop and tablet. Because of the fast-paced nature of the sports management industry, we have built an easy-to-update application and have included simply tuned functionality that keeps agents informed, with automated emails based on a range of business-critical triggers.
The Result
The bespoke application that Blue Tea have built for World In Motion allows them to respond to their clients’ needs quickly and effectively as well as communicate internally as easily as possible.
