The vehicle repossession management system is a comprehensive solution designed by Blue Tea to streamline the processes involved in vehicle repossession. The system comprises four primary components: a tablet application for field workers, an admin back-end, a client portal, and a front-end/marketing website.
Tablet Application
The tablet application is a key element of the vehicle repossession management system, enabling field agents to collect data and automate tasks efficiently. It consolidates the current processes and applications used by the client into a single, adaptable app that improves communication, continuity of service, and can evolve to accommodate other types of fieldwork.
Admin Back-end
The heart of the proposed system is the admin back-end, where jobs are created, assigned, and managed. This component facilitates communication and reporting between agents, customers and defendants. The system’s primary objective is to assist office users with day-to-day tasks rather than adding to the administrative workload, thus enabling scalability through technology.
Client Portal
An essential component for business scalability, the client portal provides 24/7 access to information and enables customer self-service. This feature alleviates pressure on internal staff while giving customers more control over their accounts.
RepoSoft was built using Ruby on Rails and Java.
Frontend/Marketing Website Redesign
Blue Tea frequently combines the implementation of a new business system with a website redesign. While both are typically separate, they can influence one another in terms of aesthetics, as well as directing users to login pages, support, and other customer services. Blue Tea’s sister company, Goose’n’Moose, specialises in digital marketing and worked to deliver a website that met the client’s needs.
Solution Design
Every Blue Tea project starts with a Solution Design phase, consisting of half-day workshops with a business analyst, rapid prototyping/wireframing and time allocated for the team to work on wireframes and specifications. The deliverables from the workshops include high-level requirements, wireframes, relevant documentation, revised pricing estimates and timeframes for application delivery.
