Blue Tea has developed a state-of-the-art loan applications management platform, designed to facilitate and optimise the application and delivery process for public sector bodies seeking funding. Built using a Drupal content management system, the platform offers a user-friendly experience, easy navigation and seamless integration with an SQL database intended for a future energy reporting system.

Loan Application Process
Once users have registered an account, they can begin the loan application process. The platform provides a straightforward form to collect essential contact information for key individuals involved in the loan application. Users can upload supporting documents, including a mandatory compliance tool outlining details of proposed projects, such as descriptions, energy savings, energy prices and costs. The platform aims to automatically read data from these spreadsheets and store it alongside the application in the database for efficient technical testing.
Users have the option to save applications as drafts for later editing or to submit them for assessment. Upon submission, automated emails are sent to the listed contacts and the application administrator. Users can also amend submitted applications, which triggers a second set of emails.
Project Delivery and Completion
Once an application has been approved, the platform unlocks the delivery stage, enabling users to input project milestones, upload relevant documents and view their contacts. When a project reaches completion, the platform opens a final stage where users can upload additional documents and update milestones.
Application Assessment and Management
While the current application assessment occurs off the platform, Blue Tea is investigating the possibility of integrating this process into the loan applications management platform. This would allow technical teams to view, assess and provide feedback on new projects within the system.
Users can access a dedicated applications page, which displays the status of all their applications and allows them to download a PDF copy of the submitted forms.
Blue Tea is continuously working on enhancing the platform’s functionality and exploring integrations with other systems, such as NetSuite CRM and Power BI, to provide an even more streamlined and efficient experience for users.
