Requirements
Entoli Medical focus on creating integrated AV setups with dedicated software for the needs of clinicians in operating rooms globally. The aim of this system is to connect and control all hardware devices in the operating theatre with a single tablet.
The system simplifies and controls workflows, reduces technical setup requirements and enables easier and faster management over all connected systems. This includes items such as surgical lighting, overhead lighting, PTZ cameras, video switches, recorders and video conferencing equipment. It also enables communication across venues, for example for training purposes.
Approach
Blue Tea London worked closely with Entoli Medical and gained full insight of the project idea and its delivery requirements. Working with Entoli, we created a comprehensive development plan and roadmap for the project. The Blue Tea specialists then focused on creating an exclusive digital App that includes a wide array of features and layers, whilst adopting a simple and intuitive interface.
Blue Tea’s plan was to create a digital solution that quickly connects all devices and manages to control them in a simple manner. We were able to understand the numerous challenges inherent in the operating environment, document them and then produce a brief for the application.
Our specialists then worked with a user group including clinicians to refine every detail, ensuring that the App would drastically improve their operating theatre workflows.
We undertook an agile development approach, with regular software releases as well as meetings and calls with user groups and hardware manufacturers. This ensured that we were able to respond to changes in the workflow as development progressed through to the user feedback.
